Specifications and listing claims below were recorded on October 26, 2026. The seller claims come from that supplied listing description. We have not inspected a purchased unit or independently verified its fitted parts, licence or written support terms.
Start with the factory identity
MSI identifies the factory desktop as Codex R2 AI A2NVM7-469US, manufacturer part CodR2A2NVM7469. Its exact specification section lists a Core Ultra 7 265 processor, B860 chipset, 32GB of DDR5 system memory, Windows 11 Home, an RTX 5060 Ti with 8GB of graphics memory, and a 2TB M.2 NVMe Gen4 storage entry. The listed power supply is 650W with an 80+ Gold efficiency designation. These are manufacturer specifications, rather than measurements of the seller's machine. MSI factory specifications.
Keep the complete model and part number on your comparison sheet. The supplied description gives A2NVM7-469US-Upgraded, Best Buy SKU 11978435, and PC Heaven as its offer identifiers; the seller name and current offer identity remain independently unverified. They do not establish that every similarly named Codex, or every upgrade from that seller, has identical contents.
Compare the advertised changes

|---|---|---|---|
| System memory | 32GB DDR5 | 64GB DDR5 | Module identities, arrangement and fitted settings |
| Windows | Windows 11 Home | Windows 11 Pro | Licence source, upgrade method and support |
| Graphics memory | RTX 5060 Ti, 8GB | RTX 5060 Ti, 8GB | Exact fitted graphics-board identity |
| Storage | 2TB M.2 NVMe Gen4 entry | 2TB SSD plus a 1TB dock set | Dock contents, connection and drive identities |
| Warranty | MSI lists one year | Listing describes one year of seller warranty | Written coverage, exclusions and claim route |
The seller column records advertising claims, not an installed-parts audit or confirmation of the current checkout configuration. Listing URL supplied for this comparison.
64GB system RAM does not increase GPU VRAM
Read the two memory capacities separately. The advertised 64GB describes system DDR5 memory; the 8GB belongs to the RTX graphics configuration. Increasing system RAM does not physically add memory chips to that graphics card.
NVIDIA lists both 8GB and 16GB GDDR7 versions of the RTX 5060 Ti. The shared GPU family name therefore cannot identify which capacity a desktop contains. This factory specification and seller claim both identify the 8GB version. A 64GB system-memory headline supplies no evidence of a switch to the 16GB graphics variant. NVIDIA family specifications.
There is also no measured gaming or local AI result for this exact seller configuration here. Capacity figures alone cannot establish frame rates, model fit, sustained speed or an improvement over the factory machine.
Keep the dock separate from installed storage
The seller's storage wording combines a 2TB SSD claim with a separate 1TB dock-set claim. It does not establish 3TB of internal storage. The dock's drive, enclosure, connector, power arrangement and included cables have not been independently identified. Do not assume that an accessory uses an internal M.2 slot or performs like the factory drive.
MSI also lists three M.2 and four SATA interfaces for the factory model. Those counts do not identify empty sockets, their wiring or usable expansion space in a delivered machine. Before planning another drive, establish what is fitted and which connections remain usable. MSI expansion specification.
Ask what the Windows and support changes include
The Pro claim deserves the same scrutiny as the hardware upgrade. The source record does not establish the licence type, how the upgrade is supplied, who resolves activation problems or whether the factory Home recovery arrangement remains applicable. A Pro label does not answer those questions.
Treat the warranty descriptions separately as well. MSI's factory term and the seller's advertised term do not establish identical coverage. The listing description attributes service to the seller, but the written terms have not been verified. Confirm whether upgraded memory and the dock are included, when coverage starts, where a claim goes and who pays shipping. We have no MSI determination about this modified unit and draw no conclusion that all manufacturer coverage survives or disappears.
Before ordering, obtain a written configuration identifying the memory modules, dock contents, Windows licence, condition, return window and responsible seller. Match it to the exact offer at checkout and retain it with the invoice. If the purchase depends on 64GB, Pro or the dock, those details are part of the product decision, alongside the factory model number.
